Dr. Kim Kissell, DDS

Dr. Kim Kissell, a native of Dubuque, graduated from Dubuque Senior High School and attended the University of Dubuque (UD) where he received his degrees in biology, chemistry, and psychology.  Dr. Kissell was very active at UD serving in the Student Government Association, Photo Editor for the yearbook, and was President of the Pi Beta Chapter of Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity.  While attending UD some of his most rewarding moments were providing services for others such as being a Big Brother or painting houses for the elderly.  This service to others laid the groundwork for his passion to become a health care professional.

Dr. Kissell attended the University of Iowa College of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 1983.  He has practiced at Epworth Family Dentistry for 30 years and is dedicated to offering high-quality, up-to-date dentistry to all of Dubuque County and surrounding areas.   He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Iowa Dental Association, and the Dubuque District Dental Society.

Dr. Kissell and his wife LuAnn live in Dubuque County and have two children.  He enjoys spending time with his family, boating on the Mississippi River, and fishing Northeast Iowa’s cold water streams for trout.
